Dandelion extract powder
Dandelion extract powder
HOKUO has produced a supplement of 100% dandelion extract in powder form. This herbal supplement is a true addition to your Bully Breed's diet.
For animals, the dandelion offers a balanced mix of nutrients. The leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins A, C and K, as well as important trace elements such as calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium. These nutrients are essential for the overall health of animals, with vitamin A good for vision, vitamin C supporting the immune system and calcium essential for strong bones and teeth.
The leaves contain about 20% protein, which is double the amount found in spinach, for example. It is also called one of the most complete plant-based food sources.
Advantages
Dandelions contain many bitter substances, which have the advantage that they warm up the digestive organs, as it were, for processing food, so they get the metabolism going. Bitter substances stimulate the production and release of digestive juices such as stomach acid and bile. They thus improve digestion, nutrient absorption and appetite. This can be useful in case of disturbed digestion or flatulence (in addition to a critical look at the diet)
Dandelion also has a strong diuretic effect. This can be used for various conditions, such as certain heart complaints, bladder and kidney problems (under the guidance of a veterinarian or experienced herbal therapist). Dandelion has the added benefit of not depleting potassium stores, as synthetic diuretics can do.
Dandelion is also a tonic for the liver, which is gratefully used for complaints where this organ needs extra support. For example, in the case of a history of excessive medication use, itching and allergies and constipation.
